For Admissions to B. Pharm. First Year :
The admissions will be done by Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) by Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State, Mumbai. If vacancies exist thereafter, the seats will be filled at college level.
a) Maharashtra State Maharashtra State candidates
Candidates passing HSC (Std. XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology & should have secured minimum 50% marks (45% marks for backward class candidates from Maharashtra state only) in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics / Biology added together.
b) Maharashtra State Maharashtra State Candidates
Candidates passing HSC (Std. XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology & should have secured minimum 50% marks (45% for backward class candidates from Maharashtra state only) in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics / Biology added together.
AND
Qualified in MH-CET2005 for Pharmacy Degree Course conducted by the CompetentAuthority forthe academic year 2005 2006 OR Qualified in CET forPharmacy Degree Course conducted by Agency, if any, (including Association ofAll Colleges of a particular type in the State) approved and permitted byPravesh Niyantran Samiti, Bandra (E), Mumbai 51 for the academic year 2009 2010.
c) Candidates passing Diploma in Pharmacy from Maharashtra State Maharashtra State
Diploma holders who have passed the diploma course in Pharmacy with minimum of 50% marks from the Polytechnics affiliated to MSBTE or AICTE approved autonomous Polytechnics in Maharashtra State Maharashtra State .
d) OMS candidates
Candidate will have type of candidature as OutsideMaharashtraStateif candidate passes either SSC (Std. X) or HSC (Std. XII) or both the examinations from a college outside Maharashtra State Maharashtra State .
Candidate passing the HSC (Std. XII) or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology and should have secured minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology added together.
e) Candidates passing Diploma in Pharmacy from Outside Maharashtra State :
Diploma holders who have passed the Minimum three years diploma course in Pharmacy with minimum of 50% marks and medium of instruction as English from the Polytechnics outside Maharashtra State Maharashtra State .
For Direct Admission to B. Pharm Second Year :
(As per Vacancy or minimum 10% of in-take capacity. )
The Candidate should have passed
HSC examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics ( or both) from Board of Higher Secondary Examination, Maharashtra State .
The candidate should have passed in First Class/First Class with Condonation, post HSC diploma course in Pharmacy( As per ER-91 regulation of PCI) from an institution approved by AICTE and of The Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education(MSBTE)
OR
Any other recognized diploma equivalent to the diploma awarded by the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) with English as the medium of instruction at diploma level.
Any other AICTE approved institution which has been granted academic autonomy by the Government of Maharshtra or University in the State of Maharashtra .
Such candidates shall produce Equivalence certificate from MSBTE, 4th floor, Govt. Polytechnic Building , 49, Kherwadi, Ali Yavar Jung Marg, Bandra (E), Mumbai-400051 (www. Msbte.com) at the time of confirmation of application form at ARC.
